Sharing some fun part of Tomoya’s interview in ROCKIN’ON JAPAN 2014 September issue (:
• What did you do when you entered elementary school?
「In my elementary school you could choose a club in 4th, 5th and 6th grade, but the one I entered there was called the ninja club. It was a club that was newly founded in the year I entered, but for now we pretended to be Ninjas. Our teacher was a bit of the special kind (laughs). We collected materials on Ninjas and while we did forwards rolls from the top of the gymnasium on a place where we spread out mats, we jumped down like Ninjas, when I think about it now it’s stupid though. Then, when I turned into an elementary school’s 5th grader, I did a complete turn and ended up joining a Cards and Othello (board game) club (laughs)」
• (laughs) Dark!
「I joined a club where you concentrated on nothing but Cards and Othello. Then, when I turned into an elementary school’s 6th grader, it was the table tennis club, right?」
• (laughs) It’s the best, isn’t it, that flow.
「(laughs) I did strange things, I did simple things and I did exercise, it seems like that. But table sports is interesting」
• I know it’s interesting, but between ball games it’s minor, isn’t it? It’s not the royal road’s baseball, soccer, or basketball, is it?
「You know, my legs are slow. Hella slow, it’s already a complex, I don’t really want to talk about it. In elementary school, isn’t 50m run and so on measured. I really hated that, it was the event I hated most in the whole year[…]」
